 DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

Sunlight is actively seeking a mid-level teammate that will manage a team and collaborate across all functions. This position reports to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for performing a broad range of detailed functions to support and manage employees responsible for Sunlight’s Operation’s underwriting, customer and portfolio management.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong leader with the capability to manage cross-functional operations teams
  • Day-to-day leader who coaches, trains and develops all employees
  • Passion for excellence and willingness to exceed expectations
  • Ability to perform all underwriting duties according to internal policy and procedure
  • Be the point of contact for escalated clients to ensure 100% customer resolutions are met
  • Be adaptable in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication to tailor communications to audience, actively listen and follow-up with questions and updates to involved parties.
  • May participate as a team member on projects at the highest level of complexity
  • Develop relationships and educate clients and cross departmental groups to ensure understanding of Sunlight requirements
  • Deadline driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to foster and grow business relationships

 

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years operational experience
  • 2+ years direct management of employees in a call center and/or back office environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule as needed which may include occasional evenings and weekends
  • Proficient computer skills with specific emphasis on Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook
  • Self-starter that can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must be able to deliver high-quality results in a rapidly change environment
  • Must conduct all activities in a professional manner
  • Adhere to the companies “Core Values”
  • Previous financial services management and/or consumer lending experience is a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, customer service and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with clients/customers regarding financial standing
  • Ability to function efficiently and utilize good time management skills in a fast paced and demanding work environment
  • Capable of analyzing data; strong attention to detail; and the ability to exercise sound judgment
