     Role and Responsibilities: 

    • Make outbound scripted calls to potential partners 
    • Profile, qualify and close partnerships from inside our uptown Charlotte office
    • Analyze and overcome competitive offerings
    • Clearly explain and position technical issues such as financial products and legal agreements and overcome objections
    • Build solid relationships with contractors and their sales/admin staff
    • Track activity and monitor relationships in CRM system; salesforce preferred
    • Work in collaboration with Account Managers to ensure partnership success
    • Innovate on sales processes, pitches and approaches; provide feedback and enhancements, collaborate with other Sunlight Financial teammates to continually improve a new initiative within a growing company
    • Be the “voice of the customer,” loud and clear
    • Be our “boots on the ground. Collect market intelligence 

    Qualifications and Education Requirements: 

    • 2+ years of successful outbound calling experience and/or Inside Sales experience
    • Exceptional phone presence while demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ambitious with an ability to adapt to a changing environment that require initiative
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize
    • Demonstrated commitment to mission-driven work
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
    • Base salary PLUS commission
