Aml Supervisor Salaries in the United States

DIA is the supervisor for law firms, conveyancing practitioners and incorporated conveyancing firms that are reporting entities under the AML/CFT Act.

It is therefore necessary to establish clear rules for the organisation of AML/CFT colleges and to provide for a coordinated, legally sound approach, recognising the need for structured interaction between supervisors across the Union.

The provisions on cooperation between supervisors ,FIUs and other competent authorities build on the current AML/CFT framework, including cooperation between competent authorities of Member States, and provisions for cases where authorities are bound by professional secrecy.

The reporting entity should be able to demonstrate to the supervisor that the person selected has an appropriate level of access to business information and systems to discharge their duties and the authority to advise the senior management of the business about AML/CFT matters.

Many entities subject to AML obligations have cross-border activities, and different approaches by national supervisors and FIUs hinder them in achieving optimal AML/CFT practices at group level.
