Attorney Advisor Salaries in the United States

The Attorney Advisor is responsible for reviewing foreign criminal justice systems where terrorist attacks against Americans have occurred and advising DOJ/OVT with regard to the system and any victims’ rights that may exist in those systems.

Attorney advisors work closely with government officials to help them understand pending laws that will affect their agencies or for which they hold responsibility for implementation and enforcement.

When an attorney is not acting primarily as an attorney but, for instance, as a business advisor, member of the Board of Directors, or in another non-legal role, then the privilege generally does not apply.

ACUS attorney advisors conduct legal research and writing, stakeholder outreach, and other activities in furtherance of the Conference’s mission of improving federal agency rulemaking, adjudication, administration and management, judicial review of agency action, and other related matters.
