About CALAVERAS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
The Calaveras County Water District was formed in 1946 as a nonprofit special district. We provide 13,000 customers with water and 5,000 customers with wastewater throughout the county. We also own hydropower generators on the Stanislaus and Calaveras Rivers. Our team is dedicated to providing safe, reliable service to our customers, and we will continue to strive to be good stewards of this count
