At that time it was an A&P market. In 1977, after A&P had pulled out of the area, it became a franchise store for the Riverside Markets and eventually the Penn Traffic Company. In 2001, an ownership change brought the market to it's current name of Ridgway Elk County Foods. We are now buying the majority of our goods from the C&S Wholesale, who runs their warehouse located in Dubois, PA. We pride
