Founded in 1949 as the first volunteer Fire Department outside of a city limit in Boyd County, KY, the Westwood Fire District services nearly 5,000 citizens in an area of 5 square miles. In fulfillment of our mission to help our families in their time of need, we respond to over 350 emergency calls each year.
