summary Quality Inspector needed in Fort Collins Friday-Monday, 6:30am-5:00pm RESPONSIBILITIES: The Quality Inspector upholds the following Responsibilities: Adhering to the codes of the company's Quality Management System. Maintaining open communications and a professional working relationship with all employees. Logging time worked per job into ERP software system. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Maintaining confidentiality on all corporate subjects so classified. Identify parts using automated and manual methods. Using paints and overcoats to touch-up parts and overcoat part marking. Filling customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance. Using computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment. Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.

These principles and techniques include, but are not limited, to: Use of various Inspection Tools and Equipment, Blueprint Reading, Handling Materials, Understanding Processes, Statistical Quality Control methods, Sampling and Sampling Plans, Prepare and Package optics for shipment, Visual Inspection of optical surfaces, Organizing and Maintaining files for QC documents including Scanning. The Inspector I has the responsibility for the action required for: * Following instructions and communicating with others. * Use of various Inspection tools and test equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, surface quality standards, test plates, interferometer, Laser Marker, etc. * Understands blueprints, test procedures and various Quality standards. *
