The law firm of Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., is a pioneer with a national reputation in asbestos litigation. In the 1980's, the firm prosecuted an average of two trial groups per month, each consisting of approximately fifteen (15) asbestos workers, achieving one of the most active and most successful asbestos trial dockets in the United States. In 1987, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association presented Richard S. Glasser the special "Courageous Advocacy Award" for his superior representation of asbestos victims. In 1990, our firm obtained more than sixty million dollars ($60,000,000) in judgments against the Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust.
