About LAGASSE' POOL CONSTRUCTION
It all started back in 1954 when William LaGasse' Sr. moved to Fort Lauderdale with his wife and five children. Ike Eisenhower was president of the United States, and Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio got married that year. He started building pools by "hand packing" the concrete in layers around the perimeter pool wall until he reached the top. A pretty grueling procedure, particularly on 8' to 10'
