Shifts available 5:30 AM to 6 PM 5:30 PM to 6 AM SUMMARY The Manufacturing Engineering Technician 1 (MET1) supports all aspects of automated manufacturing equipment set up, calibration, and preventative maintenance procedures on production equipment. The MET1 assists in all aspects of the day to day maintenance support of the production areas. The MET1 works under direct supervision. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Technical Group Supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing procedural preventative maintenance Understands basic mechanical theory and is able to use mechanical hand tools Possesses basic electrical knowledge to perform related tasks safely Follows documentation to perform calibration tasks Possesses basic knowledge of hydraulics to perform related tasks safely Performs in process adjustments including documented changeovers
