The president, J. W. Stamps, Jr is a Certified Sports Turf Manager with over 30 years of turf experience in landscape, sod farms, golf courses and athletic fields. JSM's large area mowing services has been responding to the needs of Florida Department of Transportation for over 28 years and our mowing and industrial landscape services customers includes public school districts and DOT private Asset Management Companies. We have constructed athletic fields for little leagues, Pop Warner, high schools, collegiate and professional levels. For the past ten years and counting we have been the sole contractor for the spring training facilities of the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins. We provide Bermuda turf maintenance and field reconstruction for those two professional teams. We also provide maintenance and reconstruction services for the Single A Ft. Myers Miracle throughout their season in Ft. Myers. We have worked for various cities and counties, the Department of Defense, General Contractors, private and public schools around Florida. Our athletic field construction services consists of consulting, testing, surveying, installation of drainage and irrigation, incorporating proper soil materials for optimum root growth, the use of laser guided equipment, complete grow-in of an athletic field and maintenance for natural and synthetic turf after construction. We pride ourselves on working closely with the owner to effectively communicate their ideas into a finished product.
