About Lions Eye Foundation
Established in 1954. The Lions Eye Foundation's mission is preserving and restoring the gift of sight to the less fortunate in Northern California and Nevada. The Foundation began with 19 member clubs and has grown to approximately 300 clubs representing nearly 10,000 lion member. Member clubs refer patients to the Lions Eye Clinic which provides eye care operations to the less fortunate.
