Taylor Concepts, Inc. opened its official doors in 1986, though Scott Taylor, President and Owner, really began fixing up homes as a small boy working alongside his father who taught him essential business and construction skills while buying, fixing and reselling homes in the 1970s. Scott started working for several area General Contractors in his teens and early twenties, before he decided to go solo and build upon the successful relationships he had established in the DC Metro area. TCI has grown in their offerings through the years: from decks, basements, kitchen and bath remodels, to new residential homes, high-security condo renovations, several commercial offices, residential renovations and additions. And while these remain a staple under our experienced wings, the last 20 years we have found our niche in high-end renovations and additions that call for Jewel Box care and detailed craftsmanship.
