The Union Hill Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1978 and serves a 70 square mile area in West Central Chambers County in East Central Alabama. The department was established by members of the community with the help of the Alabama Forestry Commission. Our first vehicle was a Kaiser Jeep brush vehicle loaned to us by the Forestry Commission.
