Organization and History: Founded in June, 2005 W&W Dairy is a C corporation registered in Wisconsin. The company is owned by three shareholders, Dave Webster, Kevin Wyss and Jim Curran. David and Kevin had worked together for over 19 years, originally at a cheese production plant in Middlefield, Ohio, which made a variety of cheeses, including Hispanic cheese, before starting a new cheese manufacturing company in Darlington, Wisconsin, which exclusively manufactured Hispanic cheeses. Later, Dave and Kevin decided to start W&W Dairy with Jim, who works as a dairy industry consultant. The company started producing cheese at its current 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in May, 2008. W&W Dairy currently manufactures 100,000 pounds of cheese per week and has the capacity for an additional 100,000 pounds. W & W Dairy also owns its former production plant, also in Monroe, which is currently utilized as a grinding and storage facility, and includes office space. With regard to expansion opportunities, W & W Dairy holds an option to acquire 2.5 acres of contiguous land to the east of their new manufacturing facility. W&W Dairy's facilities are strategically located among dairy farms, which places headquarters within immediate proximity to its most important input material, milk. The high number of dairy companies in the area has fostered the growth and development of a broad infrastructure support system. The product is made in 60 pound forms, and packaged in a variety of wheels and bags, including 8 ounces, 12 ounces and 16 ounces, up to a maximum of 60 pounds.
