Northern Virginia based company looking for a Building Automation Project Manager for commercial and industrial Automated Building Systems throughout the D.C. Metro Area.

Project Manager Job Overview:

The Project Manager ensures the building automation controls installation is completed on task and within budget. Project Managers will work with the installation and startup managers to properly staff projects. A Successful Project Manager will be aware, and able to report on, the progress of the project through all phases, sale to training.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with the engineering team to submit RFIs (request for information) as needed to successfully produce submittals.
• Be consistently aware of the job schedule to assist the Installation Manager and Startup Manager with proper project staffing.
• Be aware of material needs for the project to minimize material delays on the project.
• Assist the installation team with purchase orders and technical support.
• Attend project controls coordination and commissioning progress meetings for proper project completion.
• Attend bi-weekly company forecasting and billing meetings to effectively communicate project progress to the company owner.
