Being a Bank Teller II issues money orders, cashiers' and travelers' checks, and completes foreign currency exchanges. Greets customers, delivers prompt and efficient service and provides information and sells additional bank products and services. In addition, Bank Teller II follows all required security procedures and policies. May process night, mail, or ATM deposits. May prepare orders or ship currency and coin and distribute money to other tellers. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to head teller.
