The IT Auditor III evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Audits information systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security. Being an IT Auditor III requires a bachelor's degree. Determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades. In addition, IT Auditor III typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being an IT Auditor III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
