Job Description for Bankruptcy Specialist II

Bankruptcy Specialist II is responsible for the documentation and filing of loan bankruptcy materials. Responds to calls, concerns, and correspondence for bankrupt loan accounts. Being a Bankruptcy Specialist II monitors accounts throughout the loan bankruptcy process and contacts the appropriate party when necessary. Ensures full compliance with loan bankruptcy regulations, and verifies the bankruptcy is secured. Additionally, Bankruptcy Specialist II distributes account balances and interest rates to the secured and unsecured balances. Stays up to date with bankruptcy laws and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Bankruptcy Specialist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
