Supports engineers with training and knowledge sharing to keep abreast with the latest technologies and best practices. May be certified or has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.
