Radiology Aide assists radiologic technologists and department supervisors by performing a variety of administrative and patient care activities. Receives and transports patients, and answers questions regarding procedures. Being a Radiology Aide prepares the imaging room and equipment for x-ray examinations and assists technologist with procedures as needed. Performs related clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records. Additionally, Radiology Aide requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Radiology Aide works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
