Company Overview:
Converge360 Events, a division of 1105 Media, Inc., has an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and motivated Marketing Coordinator in our Dallas, TX office. This position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Event Marketing with the attendee marketing execution for Converge360’s industry-leading technical B2B training conferences and events. This is an opportunity to become a part of a dynamic and successful event team to learn and contribute to all aspects of the department while making a measurable impact on the success of our events.
Key Performance Objectives:
1) Email Marketing: Campaign Creation/Execution – 60%
This position is primarily responsible for superior creative marketing, writing and the execution of email promotional campaigns through both database marketing and marketing automation efforts.
- Write creative and compelling promotional emails geared toward potential attendees as well as sponsors/exhibitors to execute Email Marketing Plan put together by Director, Event Marketing
- Create emails using existing HTML templates in Dreamweaver and schedule final creative with our Data Services Team
- Assist with the creation and development of nurture and marketing automation campaigns
2) Social Media Marketing – 20%
The secondary focus of this position is to compliment the email promotional efforts outlined above with engaging social content to help reach potential attendees on multiple channels while utilizing unique platforms to reach and engage with our audience.
- Manage all Social Media Accounts and Channels for events, including messaging, posting, campaigns and analytics
- Build overall audience and engagement leveraging our existing site content, conference co-chairs and partner relationships
- Develop unique social campaigns to engage with potential attendees to drive interest, such as contests, trivia, etc.
- Track and report weekly social media engagement metrics for growing community
3) Data Collection and Analysis – 10%
- Track and analyze email performance of all scheduled emails and conduct A/B/C testing to optimize email strategy
- Update weekly promotional spreadsheet-based reports, creating charts, and manipulating data with Microsoft Excel
- Track and report weekly conversions of all marketing efforts using Google Analytics and other marketing tools
4) Partner Relationships and Other Additional Responsibilities – 10%
- Build and develop partner and user group relationships to help promote events and offer special discounts
- Post our events on public calendars to increase overall Converge360 Events visibility
- Update content on multiple event websites utilizing our content-management system
- Assist with other marketing department administrative duties as needed
- Travel to select events throughout the year as needed and perform onsite related tasks

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to help bring new ideas, creative marketing tactics and a strong work ethic to the team. The ideal candidate should be a creative writer, with prior work experience in a marketing related position.
Requirements:
- This position requires a basic knowledge of Excel, HTML and Social Platforms
- Knowledge of other software programs in the MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred
- Prior technology experience or understanding of the technology landscape is a plus (but not required)
