Summary
(This position will begin when stay-at-home orders have been lifted. It will end by June 30th.)
Join the movement to make Oregon a more fair and just state! Help us save lives, not ruin them!
360 Campaign Consulting seeks petitioning staff for the exciting campaign to qualify two ballot initiatives for this November’s election. One initiative will expand access to drug addiction treatment services throughout the state while also reducing unfair drug sentencing. The second will legalize psilocybin therapy to help people who suffer from depression and anxiety. Both measures are well on the way to qualification, and we need smart passionate people interested in improving Oregon to get us over the finish line!
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many things, but Oregon State Law still requires that voters physically sign a petition sheet to qualify these initiatives for the ballot. This position is for petition circulators. Our staff must pass a rigorous daily screening process for COVID-19 symptoms and will be provided personal protective equipment including gloves and face masks. Staff will carry and use hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes also provided by us. Petitioners will also follow social distance guidelines while collecting signatures either door to door or in public spaces.
There is no fundraising involved in the work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who seeks to create social change through direct democracy and gain campaign experience.
