What does an Recall Petitioner do at companies like 360 CAMPAIGN CONSULTING?

Job Summary

360 Campaign Consulting is seeking petitioning staff to join us on an important campaign to recall Republican state senator Chuck Thomsen of Oregon’s senate district 26. We're recalling senator Thomsen because he broke his promise to represent his constituents in the legislature. He stopped going to work but is still, as we speak, collecting his taxpayer-funded salary. As Oregonians, we don't get to keep our jobs if we don't show up for work.

Sen. Thomsen's refusal to show up for work has blocked bills to tackle climate change, grow small businesses, strengthen schools, protect healthcare, and provide emergency funding for housing, floods and wildfires. His refusal to do his job is hurting our community. If a senator doesn’t like a bill, he should show up, work with their colleagues to improve it, or vote against it.

Petitioning staff will collect petitions door-to-door in neighborhoods as well as in busy public places.  They will demonstrate interest in voting to recall Sen. Thomsen by collecting signatures from registered Oregon voters in his district. There is no fundraising involved in the work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who seeks to create social change through direct democracy and gain campaign experience.
