Summary:

The Enterprise Account Executive has direct sales responsibility for accounts to be prospected and sold directly by a 75F associate; which is different from accounts sold through our Channel Rep group. Direct accounts will be either multi-unit, or 250,000 square feet and larger in terms of opportunity. This could be one facility or multiple facilities. Regardless, all prospects will be approved as direct so as to not be in conflict with our channel partners. This position will have a direct sales budget and a gross margin target. The Enterprise Account Executive will be able to work in a ‘team sales’ approach where they work closely with an assigned engineer to ensure accurate proposals and an “exceed the customer expectations” outcome. Partnering with our equipment manufacturing partners (HVAC manufacturers for example) and their corporate accounts team will be critical for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Develop and deliver plans to achieve sales budgets while achieving minimum gross margin requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to identify ‘direct account’ prospects.
  • Manage the entire lead-to-customer process.
  • Coordinate with all 75F sales associates on targets so as to avoid duplication and confusion.
  • Sell all products and services as they become available.
  • Collect market intelligence including contributing to competitive positioning.
  • Participate in all sales tool’s development.
  • Aid in collections of accounts receivables.
  • Prepare monthly activity reports.

Education and Experience (Recommended)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of technical sales experience.
  • 3-5 years in Vice-President-level and up decision makers sales experience.
  • Experience in HVAC, building controls, technology and/or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a startup is preferred.
  • Experience in ‘team sales’, working with functional expertise to close deals.
    • Example – partner with assigned engineer based on customer need.
