At E78 Partners, we provide outsourced finance and accounting solutions to rapidly growing businesses. We are currently seeking an Accountant / Manager Associate to join our Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS) team. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Working with our clients, you will be primarily responsible for a multitude of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and assisting with the daily accounting needs. Routine contact with clients to develop process improvement plans, drive organizational efficiencies and present their financials while giving guidance to help improve their performance; along with contact with client contacts such as tax accountant and other professional service providers.

Responsibilities

• Cloud based Software implementation - Sage Intacct implementations
• Develop process improvement approaches
• Overall day-to-day management of financial reporting accuracy and on-time processing of client information
• Bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
• Payroll Management
• Payroll reconciliations
• Review and approve account classifications
• Bookkeeping
• Review G/L for any missing transactions and overall accuracy
• Preparation of Management Reporting Package each month
• Bank Reconciliation
• Accounts Receivables
• Accounts Payables
• Supervision and management of staff members

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to research, analyze, and retrieve data necessary to complete duties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Used to working under tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Supervise junior team members (1-3 reports)
• Proficient with multiple systems of record, especially general ledger systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Quickbooks, etc. 
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundaments.
• Experience working in a small to medium size business and getting a lot done with minimal resources.
