Financial Analyst Consultant needed in a rapidly-growing local consulting firm.  Applicant should be experienced in providing premier client service, able to effectively manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, and provide superior work product with minimal supervision.

Our clients utilize our team as an extension of their own, and look for us to deliver executive decision support, forecasting, reporting and analysis.

Financial Analyst Consultant will be expected to perform requirements-gathering, set schedules, build project plans, and produce and hand-off deliverables.  Projects may include financial reporting system environment design and implementation, operational data transformation and reporting, and raw data analysis to provide new business insight.

Excellent communication and presentation skills required, as well as flexibility to work on multiple demanding projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently. Can -do, hands-on attitude required. Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:

• Expert Excel knowledge with a skill set focused on modeling, reporting, and data analysis;
• Experience with financial statement analysis, including budgeting and forecasting;
• Experience in database use and/or design is desired (including Essbase, SQL, and MySQL);
• Adaptive Insights experience a plus;
• Self-motivation, maturity, and versatility;
• Ability to work proactively, solve problems and make decisions with minimal supervision;
• Resourcefulness with a “can-do” results-oriented attitude to challenges and problem solving;
• Desire to work as a consultant; and
• 2 to 5 years finance/business analysis experience
