Summary
The Digital Marketing and Strategy team is responsible for delivering value to consumers by connecting them with relevant AARP digital experiences. We are currently seeking an intern to support digital marketing campaigns, including SMS email. This paid internship will begin in the summer and extend through the end of the year (Dec).
ResponsibilitiesThe Digital Marketing Intern would be responsible for supporting key strategic initiatives, including:
Creating new and improved digital Member Experiences across email and social, acting as the primary liaison between internal clients/marketing managers, the email channel, and the social media team. Gather requirements for marketing campaigns, draft requirements for development within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advertising Studio, and document campaign results. Create case studies for future reference.
Monitoring the team’s member experience/voice of the customer listening platforms and identifying opportunities to improve the member experience.
Provide program and project management support for one of AARP’s largest Strategic Engagement Employee Resource Group, including managing the budget, events, meeting agendas, minutes, and creating promotional materials. Manage the content and strategy for the monthly newsletter. Learn to produce the newsletter in the Salesforce Marketing cloud, supporting technical resources.
Provide support for the Digital Marketing Groups’ Project Management Organization, creating process documents and best practices.
