The Program Manager/SEIR will pursue poverty and isolation alleviation goals with entrepreneurial zeal, business methods, and the courage to innovate and overcome traditional practices to scaling solutions. This role will provide daily operational support and be a strategic advisor on the development and implementation of programs associated with grant-funding from United Health Foundation (UHF) and other funders. With support from UHF and other funders, AARP Foundation will continue its commitment to ensuring positive outcomes by creating a closed-looped, systemic approach to addressing critical unmet needs of low income older adults nationwide particularly related to issues of social isolation and food security during the time of pandemic and its aftermath.
This role will work in concert with other Program Managers and Analysts as well as across the AARP Foundation (including Development, Communications, Technology, Innovation, and Volunteer Engagement) to identify and integrate solutions to the biggest challenges facing the low income 50+ and their families.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for a portfolio of work from new ideas and concepts to programs in multiple states and involving multiple partners, including for-profit and non-profit stakeholders. The role requires a commitment to the Foundation's strategy of continuously developing social innovations that increase our ability to provide practical and scalable solutions to the current and future needs of the low-income 50+.

In addition, a particular focus for this role will be on expanding and adapting the content on AARP Foundation’s existing Connect2Affect platform which would act as a central site for support for low income older adults in need.
