Provides key support and execution for the Turnkey Program Operations department with direct oversight and support for online learning related assets. Key to this position is the ability to provide direct and ongoing support with all online tools and vendors to ensure systems are being efficiently and effectively utilized, including our Learning Management System (LMS), ‘Learn@50+’ web site, webinar/virtual fair systems, e-vendor management and online systems (including Cvent) that integrate with digital and social platforms.
Additionally, the position requires demonstrated technical and working knowledge of tools that enhance the look and feel of our online presence in support of program design and promotional needs. Provides recommendations and execution for “look and feel” with online assets and must have working understanding of these tools and their administration as the PM will be responsible for implementation when appropriate or guiding stakeholders, plus tracking and reporting to ensure visual consistency with assets.
ResponsibilitiesOnline Learning (75 percent)
-The PM will be responsible for the functionality of member-facing assets/experiences, including LMS and web site, working collaboratively with those who lead the strategy (director and senior advisor from outside Operations, respectively), DSM and vendors.
-The PM will develop solutions and refresh/update functionality to meet goals and overcome obstacles that impact member participation, including SSO. As such, analytics such as participant growth and frequency will be used to measure the effectiveness of the PM.
-Refine LMS and web site, include customizing ‘off the shelf’ products via vendor, to meet unique direct-to-member experience that aligns with functionality of marketplace norms, such as ‘recommended for you’ learning experiences, simplified dashboard and ease of use, or seamless experience in-person or online.
-Additionally, the PM will design and develop assets that promote or align with existing or in-development learning modules to more effectively connect prospective participants with experiences. This includes monitoring and reflecting trends, in tone or design, to complement expectations of users and demonstrate ‘freshness’ and relevance.
-PM is solely responsible for administrative coordination of webinars, virtual fairs, tele-town halls, and other assets, including outside stakeholders within AARP, via vendor.
-Inventory of online assets and developing recommendations to eliminate or refresh micro learnings and other assets based on use or other factors (including content changes because of law, regulation, etc.)
-Develop and manage content inventory with real time access.
-Manage/upload marketing to microsite.
-Landing page management and content uploads, consistent with strategy and cadence assigned by stakeholders.
-Manage vanity URL inventory with real time access.
-Monitor and manage “uptime” with online tools and providing clear, concise communication re: cause and resumption timeline
-Ensure smooth transitions and updates are integrated into platforms.
-Communicate with vendors to ensure Operational needs are being considered or executed (i.e. enhancements) and timelines are met.
-Additional responsibilities, as assigned, consistent with this scope of work.
In-Person Learning (25 percent)
-The PM will be responsible for local to online support and tracking to help understand and support conversion from in-person to online.
-PM role includes management of conversion assets, including vanity URLs and page management related to wallet cards referrals.
Additionally, the PM will:
-Use sound judgment in the assessment and analysis of internal and external business factors impacting operations to ensure the successful development of appropriate strategies and options for LMS, web site and other assets aligned with work.
-Interpret and report feedback to appropriate management. Provides counsel and offers solutions/options to stakeholders.
-Provide ongoing relationship support with delivery partners in DSM, Brand, Marketing, Email channel, and other partners who support local program data management, promotion, and execution.
-Supports data collection, reporting and analysis for Programs with a focus on finding improvements.
-Supports a “test and learn” environment to ensure high quality programming that meets the needs of the states and 50-plus consumers and that is nimble in program delivery and support.
General responsibilities include:
-Actively participates in team projects, and manages independent special projects as assigned. Provides high-level support to VP and director, as well as backfilling for additional staff duties as needed.
-Possesses strong, general knowledge of multiple consumer segments’ interests and needs.
-Recommends program execution timelines, targets and metrics; analyzes program outcomes based on program results and knowledge of objective benchmarks.
-Regularly collaborates with other AARP departments, relevant influencers, organizations and coalitions to plan, develop, and implement key Programs.

RequirementsAssociate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in business, operations, program/product/service operations, or other field related to the duties of this position plus 5 years of related experience developing, integrating, coordinating and implementing high impact initiatives, projects or in support of social programs, or a mix of education and experience pertinent to this position. Strong knowledge of project management principles (PMP ideal but not required); understanding of audiences and most optimal ways to reach them to effectively impact program goals. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively internally and externally to effect positive social change; excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Experience in for-profit, non-profit, governmental or non-governmental organizations focused on educating and informing others or that improved delivery systems and or projects/products. Experience in building and managing matrixed cross-discipline teams to execute upon and deliver program goals.
