Key Responsibilities 

Strong candidates will demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, coupled with strong analytical, project management, and influencing skills. Must be self-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity. A proven track record of driving affordability, and innovation, as well as quality is required. Be prepared for international travel of ~ 10-25% contingent on business needs and budget.

• Creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials/services.
• Determines method to process requisition based on dollar amount, timeliness required, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding.
• Researches, interviews and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
• Resolves purchasing problems between department and vendor.
• Reviews Vendor performance with Quality Department and prepares Performance Management Reviews with Vendors
• Prepares and reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority and determines that statutory bid requirements are met.
• Performs analysis of materials and services procured and make recommendations regarding volume agreements for procurement of common stock and services.
• Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
• Prepares reports as requested, to enable financial analysis of all facets of Business operations
• Review the work of junior employees and make suggestions for improvement
• Provide feedback on the timeliness of completion of projects in support of other  team members.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Other Duties as assigned. 

Desired Qualifications/Characteristics:

• 2 Plus Years of experience with electronic commodities/MRO/Service Contracts
• SAP and Agile experience
• Willingness to travel as required
• Bachelor’s Degree
