Abaco Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a passionate, driven and energetic Workday Support Specialist to join the organization and help drive automation and improved functionality of our current HCM tool (Workday).

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast- paced environment, be process oriented and have a keen eye for detail and passion for HR systems (Workday), process efficiency and all things HR technology. You will get exposure to all areas of HR Systems including Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Learning, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Advanced Compensation and Reporting/Dashboards. You will have the opportunity to add value to the business through working on process mapping, system optimization, improved functionality, enhanced user experience and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical and data issues
  • Configuration and development of business processes in Workday
  • Provide support as Subject Matter Expert for Workday functions
  • Develop custom reports as needed to meet requirements of the HR team and managers within the organization
  • Develop and administer Workday training for end users
  • Assist with Workday projects and configuration testing
  • Assist with the bi-annual Workday release cycle including researching and assessing changes to existing and new functionality, configuring and testing selected enhancements and communicating enhancements to the HR team and end users
  • Assist with development, maintenance, and enhancement of HR analytics dashboards
  • Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Conduct Workday onboarding training during all scheduled orientations

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Workday HRIS experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work with highly confidential data with a high level of professionalism
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to investigate complex issues and thoroughly test solutions

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or technical related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with a global multi-cultural team
  • Self-directed, able to set priorities and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
