Associate Director, Aesthetic Clinical Educator
YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE…
- A Skilled Program Manager. You are accountable for the execution of in-clinic customer training programs. Each training program is focused on educating healthcare providers on the safe and effective use of Allergan’s Facial Aesthetics portfolio and current aesthetic protocols. Educational formats include, but not limited to, lectures, roundtables, WebEx’s, hands-on 1:1, small group and mid-size group trainings.
- A Strong Relationship Builder. You foster strong relationships with in-territory customer accounts, National Account Directors, Sales Representatives, Medical Education Marketing and Brand Marketing.
- A Hand-on Strategic Thinker. You will have experience working in a multi-faceted high-paced matrix environment, hands-on aesthetic injection experience, clinical content development, strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to multi-task.
YOU WILL:
- Educates healthcare providers on Allergan’s facial injectable product portfolio, including product science and clinical studies
- Clear understanding and ability to educate on facial anatomy, injection depth, injection techniques / strategies and anatomical watch out zones
- Conducts in-clinic customer training programs
- Facilitates and leads 1:1 training, small and mid-size group hands-on injection programs, WebEx programs and roundtable events within identified territory
- Collaborate with program booking agency and sets monthly training schedule and travel plans
- Proactive in anticipating customer needs and implements new training initiatives as needed
- Collaborates and supplies weekly feedback to cross-functional stakeholders
- Reviews training program evaluations and program effectiveness. Makes adjustment when necessary
- Develops effective working relationships with territory customers, sales teams, medical science liaisons and brand teams.
- Stays up to date on industry trends related to aesthetics and medical education
- Adheres to compliance and regulatory policy
QualificationsYOU BRING:
- College degree required
- RN/NP/PA medical degree required
- Must be actively injecting
- 3+ years’ experience injecting neurotoxins and dermal fillers in patients
- 2 years’ experience in managing direct reports
- Knowledge of facial anatomy and ability to identify key landmarks and watch-out zones
- Outstanding verbal, presentation and written communication skills with the ability to present complex medical data in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Solid matrix management and leadership skills
- Self-starting and independent individual with the ability to work with and manage others to accomplish objectives
- Experience in presenting to large groups and individuals
- Ability to deal effectively with customers and all levels of management
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks with a high level of efficiency, with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Financial/budgetary experience
- Ability to travel 80% and adhere to rigorous schedule
- Clean driving record
