Responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function for AK Management Contracts and to support CCG in NYC. The HR Manager will work closely with the Senior VP for AK and Managed Clients of AK and the Senior Director of HR to fulfill HR responsibilities and to help to ensure a positive, professional work environment. This role will implement and administer human resource-related policies, programs and practices and will oversee areas including legal compliance, recruitment, staff relations, benefits administration, and performance management. S/he must possess strong interpersonal skills and being a clear communicator is a necessity. S/he works closely with the General Managers of each business in promoting the Company’s Culture, Mission and Philosophy, and ensuring that all processes/procedures are aligned with Elior North America guidelines/standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3+ years Human Resources Management experience
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- Prior hospitality or related experience required
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal and NY State Legislation related to employment.
- Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent and efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Working knowledge Spanish, preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff and associates
- Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
- Ability to communicate effectively with associates, management, clients and vendors if necessary.
- Able to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels.
