FUNCTION:
Oversees the daily operation of assigned Community Home(s). Ensures compliance with Chapter 6400 Regulations; the Allegheny Department of Human Services/Office of Intellectual Disabilities; and Westmoreland County Behavioral Health and Developmental Services’ standards for the health safety and welfare of the individuals supported by direct care employees in the home. Serves as the on-call person along with beeper responsibilities according to a developed schedule. Reports to the Community Living Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Social Science and two years of related experience. Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to complete one person transfers. Must meet Act 33 and 34 Requirements. Valid license to drive in the State of Pennsylvania and properly insured automobile for daily use.
