Description

FUNCTION:

Responsible for the coordination and reporting of all matters pertinent to an individual's benefits and funds.  Supervises Consumer Accounts Specialist. Reports to the Controller.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supports the achievement of individuals’ personal outcomes.
  2. Establish and maintain a benefit database for Residential Consumers.
  3. Coordinates eligible benefits for consumers.
  4. Ensures receipt of maximum eligible benefits.
  5. Ensures consumers meet eligibility requirements.
  6. Properly file all required reports.
  7. Respond to benefit inquiries.
  8. Ensures proper application of benefit payments.
  9. Site visits for oversite of internal controls.
  10. File rent rebates.
  11. Performs related duties as required.
  12. Posting of journals for all Consumer Accounts Specialists.
  13. Process weekly ACH payments.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications


Equivalent of Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in the MH/MR field including one year of responsible work involving practical application of client benefits; or an associate's degree in accounting or business administration with an equivalent combination of training and experience in the maintenance of client benefits.  Must meet Act 34 requirements.  Valid license to drive in the State of Pennsylvania and properly insured automobile for daily use..
