Role and Scope of Position:
Ensures accurate, timely, and complete maintenance and reporting of Eversource Operations Systems. Responsible for the complete and accurate Administrative Configuration of Eversource Operations and related products. Responsible for Conformance and Performance Reporting, including System Dashboards, KPI’s, Work Metrics, Rate & Regulatory Reporting. Performs a lead role for business testing of Eversource Operations systems.

Role and Scope of Position:
Ensures accurate, timely, and complete maintenance and reporting of Eversource Operations Systems. Responsible for the complete and accurate Administrative Configuration of Eversource Operations and related products. Responsible for Conformance and Performance Reporting, including System Dashboards, KPI’s, Work Metrics, Rate & Regulatory Reporting. Performs a lead role for business testing of Eversource Operations systems.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates activities with members of all Eversource Operating Companies for successful execution of the Work Process to achieve consistent and standard results
- Ensures Eversource Operations systems and related products are accurately configured, maintained, and documented
- Performs lead role on Business Testing of Eversource Operations system products
- Facilitates organizational efficiencies through building and maintaining networks of key contacts across the organization and standardization of Reporting and Metrics, including KPI’s for all Operations Work Business Processes in responsible systems
- Coordinates and supports business Users’ Reporting needs and provides continuous review of data integrity up to and including software / configuration errors
- Establishes specifications for Business Requirements, Upgrades, and Enhancements to Reports
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting for Business Process Conformance and Performance
- Ensures compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, including User security and data maintenance requests
- May participate with training Field Users on enhancements and changes to responsible System Reports products and associated business processes.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Good problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application defects, e.g. software and/or configuration bugs including user errors.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, to instruct users on configuration setup / reporting and problem resolution.
- Good organizational skills, and the ability to deal with multiple and varied System related issues in a given day.
- Knowledge and the ability to demonstrate additional computer skills on applications such as Power Point, Word, and Excel are required.
- Experience in using SQL Query Tools such as Toad or AQT is highly desirable.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
- Individual must have a strong background and experience in the principles and process of Eversource Operations systems and an ability to understand related products. The individual should have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose System issues in a timely fashion.
Licenses & Certifications:
- A valid driver’s license is required as travel to facilities throughout the entire Eversource territory may me be necessary.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment where primary tools include PC / laptop and telephone
- Occasional travel between Eversource offices for meetings and to provide Operating Company customer support
- Storm / Emergency restoration assignment will normally require travel to support events across Eversource territory.
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
