Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for creating effective marketing-related member and client communication for all Greater Nevada companies. In addition, position specific requirements include:

• Develops and implements communication solutions, including written, video, graphic and audio, to promote Greater Nevada Credit Union and its companies and to support business goals
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to create effective communications for campaigns and various media
• Continually Evaluate communication strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Monitors and updates website and other digital content and ensures communications effectively support Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization strategies
• Works with third party business partners to develop communication pieces and ensure adherence to quality, brand consistency, time-lines and budgets

Qualifications

• Excellent marketing specific writing experience with areas including public relations, newsletters, websites, social media, etc. (example work will be needed)
• Working knowledge on capturing and editing photos and videos to go out to members, clients, and other external audiences
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience to track and analyze communication strategies to determine opportunities for improvement
• Outgoing personality to collaborate with different subject matter experts on a regular basis
• Self-motivated and well organized to handle multiple projects at one time
