Bow Tie Cafe was founded by Dhani Jones in 2010. Dhani's love for Bow Ties manifested when his friend Kunta Littlejohn told him "If you wanna be somebody, you gotta rock a bow tie". Kunta was then diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. As a result, Dhani started the Bow Tie Cafe and Bow Tie Cause, which is an organization that raises money for the charities such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
