Location: Kent Campus Hospital Status: Part Time 32 Hours Shift: Weekends SALARY RANGE: 15.38 - 21.53HOURLY General Summary: Performs a variety of duties related to receiving and processing special diet orders, to include modifying patient menus to multiple diet restrictions and preferences. Responsible for identifying appropriate menu choices for all age groups, fluid restrictions, diet restrictions, food and beverage consistencies. Responsibilities: 1. Performs diet office functions such as: receiving and processing diet orders through CBORD systems; updating diet orders to provide appropriate food choices to in-patients; and tracking diet progression via computer. Demonstrates understanding of basic medical terminology. Demonstrates understanding of modified diets. 2. Able to work with electronic devices.
