Cellino Plumbing has been servicing WNY's residential plumbing needs for over 20 years. Within this time, we began to realize that most of the plumbing repairs we made were due to the quality of the water. According to the EPA's standards, Erie County and Buffalo have high levels of water hardness. This causes faucets to leak prematurely, hot water tanks to be less efficient, and appliances to have a shortened lifespan. As we started treating hard water, we discovered the demand to remove chlorine from the water, as well. Chlorine is added to the water by the water treatment plants as a disinfectant. Over time, we became experts at treating municipal water, but realized we were not as well-suited to treat well water. To remedy this, Cellino Plumbing teamed up with Water Treatment Contractor of the Year, Scott Hillman. Scott has been in the industry for over 20 years and has received many awards for his knowledge and experience. Each week, he trains his team of plumbers on the basics of water treatment while simultaneously directing Cellino Plumbing's own water treatment experts.
