Our auto body repair services restore our customers cars to pre-accident condition. We have been providing expert collision repair services to Bloomington, Martinsville, Bedford and Spencer since W.S. Curry sold his first car in 1915. Maintenance and repair service, including auto body repair, has always been an integral part our commitment to total customer care. Curry Collision Center is part of Curry Auto Center. We have offered collision repair for all makes and models at our current location, 845 Auto Mall Road, Bloomington, Indiana, since 1969. We completed construction of our new 16,000 square foot Collision Center in 2008. The auto body shop features a circular workflow design for increased efficiency and productivity. It all begins in the auto body shop drive-thru estimate area, which is completely enclosed and climate controlled. The work area includes three frame racks with computerized measuring to return the vehicle to factory specs, a prep deck, and two state-of-the-art paint booths for complete auto body refinishing; an enclosed and computerized paint mixing area; and pristine lighting to enhance the optical environment for paint technicians. The Collision Center has also been designed to be the most environmentally advanced auto body repair center in Bloomington and southern Indiana. Among the green concepts incorporated into the body repair services are the use of Axalta Spies Hecker waterborne basecoat paints-a double post filtration system that drastically reduces solvent and volatile organic compound emissions-and vacuum sanders to reduce particle emissions. The staff at Curry Collision Center maintains the highest degree of training and professional certifications in the industry. Our staff includes seven body repair technicians, two painters, two paint preppers, and three estimators.
