Medical Office Receptionist Job Summary: The Front Desk employee, under the direction of the Business Office Manager, is responsible for checking patients in and out of the office. This person ensures that all of the proper paperwork is completed and filed thoroughly and accurately. Regular attendance is an essential part of this job. Essential Functions: Welcome on-site patients and visitors by greeting them warmly and professionally. Register patients (check-in/out) and maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, insurance, and demographic information in accordance with doctor preference and compliance requirements.
