Lifework Leadership was birthed in 1992 when U.S. Senator William Armstrong (CO) convened Christian business leaders to cast a vision for a world, city by city, that could be transformed through leaders who had a clear calling and a biblical worldview. Armstrong challenged Ralph D. Veerman, of Veerman & Associates and Larry Kreider, President of The Gathering USA, Inc. to be founding partners and launch in their city of Orlando, Florida. Our model was refined in 2000 with the appointment of Steven French as President. French brought Lifework's staff, and its core nine-month program and curriculum to a level that enabled our model of leadership transformation to be transferable for leaders in other cities. From our inception, our mission and vision has been captured in a mantra - "transforming leaders, transforming cities".
