JOB TITLE / CODE: Bakery Purchasing Manager REPORTS TO: Directory of Bakery Finance/Controller JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the 37th Street Bakery raw material, trial materials, bought in finished goods and supplies purchasing. Ensures continuity of production by making sure that materials are purchased at the correct times at negotiated prices in the proper quantities. Job functions including, but not limited to: 1. Manages day-to-day supplier partnerships to achieve best in class relationships which allow the bakery to ensure continuity of supply and to meet targeted strategic goals such as annual cost savings and payment terms related goals. 2. Purchases raw materials in accordance with Master Supply Agreements and Outline Agreements. Ensures Supplier compliance with all company policies and procedures including individual material specifications, certificates of analysis and delivery instructions. 3. Tracks contract balances and notifies supervisor of any shortages or overages. 4.
