On campus clinical is conducted in the brand new, state-of-the-art Clinical Learning Suite. This suite consists of a seven-bed clinical skills lab, a medication preparation room, and four high fidelity simulation rooms with two control rooms and two debriefing rooms. The Clinical Learning Suite provides the student with the opportunity to engage in active learning that achieves outcomes in all domains of learning. The Clinical Learning Educator will work closely with the Course Coordinators and the Professional Practice Coordinator to identify and evaluate clinical placements for potential and continual partnership. The Clinical Learning Educator reports directly to the Dean of Nursing and works collaboratively with School of Nursing faculty and staff, and interdisciplinary with other departments on the Assumption University campus, as well in the greater Worcester community, to facilitate interprofessional education.
