Job Description Job Description Principal Activities Be familiar with stakeholder needs (i.e. customer contracts, regulations, requirements) to assure that Quality requirements are built into the production process. Interpret applicable ASTM, Military, DFARS and FAR specifications and other drawings to assure Develop, implement, and improve Quality plans (ie inspection steps, tools, data required, sampling plans) including FAIRS, FAT/IAT, hold points, source inspection points Perform Material certification reviews to assure supplied products meet material specs, drawings, and contract requirements. This may include RT. Serve as Source inspection Liaison to customers. Work with the customer to arrange and host source inspection sessions. Assure that customer all needs and requirements are addressed. Manage Nonconforming Material - Champion the MRB/SIR process with Quality Manager Oversight to assure issues are addressed in a timely manner and implement corrective action to prevent recur
