Job Description New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is currently seeking a (Hybrid) full time Senior Staff Accountant. The Senior Staff Accountant will take responsibility for overseeing financial reporting including reviewing reconciliations prepared by Staff Accountant, preparing and/or reviewing journal entries, analyzing monthly financials, and reviewing and approving payroll as prepared by Staff Accountant or Senior Accounting Associate. The Senior Staff Accountant duties also include assisting the Controller with developing the annual budget, assisting with preparing financial statements for annual review performed by outside CPA firm, and assisting with annual retirement plan audits. The Senior Staff Accountant will work closely with program leaders and their staff, to educate them regarding finance and accounting procedures including exploring how the finance function can support operations.
