The On-site Support Technician II installs new products or enhances existing ones and may provide training and best practices for on-site personnel. Provides maintenance and technical support for company products at customer field locations. Being a On-site Support Technician II identifies and troubleshoots malfunctions and conducts or schedules repairs. Determines when products should be replaced and recommends and plans upgrades. In addition, On-site Support Technician II develops detailed service reports to document service visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions and logs and tracks maintenance activities. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a On-site Support Technician II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a On-site Support Technician II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
